Helping Hindus Find Hope in Christ
Helping Hindus Find Hope in Christ
Trying to minister to people of different religion can be intimidating and challenging, especially when not much is known about the religion of those being ministered to. With the number of Hindus now residing in the U.S., it is almost impossible not to come across a Hindu colleague or neighbor. Developing an understanding of the Hindu faith and its beliefs is beneficial, especially to those desiring to share the gospel with Hindus. As a former Hindu, I can relate with the challenges that come with the decision to leave the religion that one has been brought up in. My presentation provides personal insight into the Hindu faith as I discuss the differences as well as the commonalties that exist between the Hindu religion and the Christian faith. In addition, attendees of my presentation leave with various suggestions and things to consider when trying to minister to those belonging to the Hindu faith.
