Session 5 on Saturday, March 6, from 3:30-4:00 (PT)
Online Phrasal Verb Choice Board: Observe, Pronounce, Know, and Apply
Phrasal verbs are integral in helping student better understand natural spoken language and in becoming more fluent in the English language. In this session, I will share Phrasal Verb Choice Board, which is often motivating to students as it allows for student choice. The 16 online-friendly activities can be modified for any vocabulary list. Each column of the board supports a stage in the vocabulary-acquisition process. Some of the activities include: tasks to determine meaning through context,  dictating the target words/phrases to Google docs to pronunciation, Quizlet links,  and creating a crossword puzzle with the target words.
